This is Samantha, my fiancée. We became engaged on Saturday, November 28, 2009.

We went to Marblehead, Ohio and walked around the State Park there and photographed the lighthouse. Then we put the cameras away and went walking to just enjoy the scenery and I proposed on the rocks about 10 feet from Lake Erie underneath the lighthouse.

This photo was taken just afterward on the rocks beside the lighthouse. (If Sam makes me put more details up about the day - then I'll do that).

I almost forgot I had this one. I captured this image at a Columbus Blue Jackets game last year. We were 5 rows from the ice and the tickets were free!!!! It was my first professional hockey game and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't been able to go to a game this year as of yet, but there's still a while left - so we'll see.

Wow!!! It's sure been a long time since my last post. I miss photography, but I haven't been able to really get out to do much. So, I'm going to make time! Mark my words, there will be posts made of photographs that I am proud of in the near future.

In the mean time, here is another installment of the O. C. Barber barn series (the last of the series). It was done using HDR photography. Thanks for visiting.

I haven't posted in forever, I know. I'm pretty sure that only family reads this now anyway and anyone else that ever looked at it doesn't anymore. That's sasd (while I was typing that, my chair broke and I fell to the ground, now all of you that read this will have a little extra info). Anyway, back to what I was saying....That's sad that I may have no viewers, but hopefully VFXY helps with that a bit.

This image is actually an HDR image of 5 different shots. The building is in Barberton, Ohio and it was built by Ohio Columbus (O. C.) Barber, the founder of Barberton. Barberton is nicknamed "The Magic City" because of how magically fast it grew in population.

I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July weekend. My parents drove up from Texas and will be here for a week, so I'm happy they are here.

As promised, I will be posting some of the cycling images from the Tour de Grandview 2008. I've shot this event the past three years and it seems to get more challenging each year.

Before I start posting the cycling images, I wanted to put ths one up of my friend's daughter. He sent me some photos they took on a recent trip and I thought I'd put it up. I posted one of her when she was a newborn a while back.

As promised, here is another photo of a bee (different bee than yesterday) that was buzzing around at the Tour de Grandview. I don't know how many more bee images I'll post - depends on whether any others pop out at me or not.

I was going to edit some more images tonight, but I've been told that I can't by Samantha. So, I guess I won't. Thanks for visiting, I know I've been very sporadic in my postings, but I hope to remedy that.
